Darnton EGS were appointed to act as architects on this complicated project, to link three buildings and undertake car park alterations to form the 182-bed Hogarth Hotel, located in Kensington and Chelsea.

The buildings were of widely varying styles and from different architectural periods, all three being located within a conservation area. Our task was to amalgamate the buildings, a task that was achieved through clever design and through excavating the basement car park of one of the buildings. All of the buildings remained open throughout the works.
