The rejuvenation of the existing Thorncliffe Hotel consisted of the over cladding of the existing elevations and internal refurbishment works. Sensitivity was required in the new design as the existing hotel is located within a green belt area.

The refurbishment was to a budget hotel standard as required by the client and included the demolition of existing outbuildings and the extension of the existing hotel in order to increase accommodation.
