Darnton EGS provided specialist consultancy services to the Royal College of Music for the restoration of the College's main building - the Blomfield building.
Being a Grade I listed campus, this project required thorough consultation with English Heritage for the resolution of numerous conservation issues.
The restoration included the cleaning of stonework and brickwork, the restoration of the roof, window refurbishment and the replacement of specialist stone carvings.
The Parry Rooms form a series of three performance and teaching spaces located on the fourth floor of the Blomfield building. We worked closely with Westminster's' conservation department to redevelop this space to provide state of the art corporate and teaching facilities.
