Darnton EGS were appointed as architects for a series of projects under a partnering contract. The Spaces for Sports & Arts project provided extensions for sporting and arts facilities at primary and junior schools in the Doncaster area. Features created included a MUGA, multi-purpose halls, changing areas, all weather playing fields and new entrance areas.

Darnton EGS also acted as architect for the development of two City Learning Centres, located at secondary school sites and a further design and build scheme to extend and remodel Edlington Hill Top School. The project includes new classrooms, a sports hall, library, new entrance and internal remodelling. Together the new build and alteration elements form a new 14 classroom primary school.
