Congratulations to the Darnton EGS design team responsible for the remodel and extension of M&S Kings Lynn, which has been the recipient of a National Bronze award in the 2010 Green Apple Awards.
The award was accepted by Managing Director Alistair Hamilton at the award ceremony held at the Tower of London and comes as the latest in a long line of Green Apple wins for the practice, including national silver and bronze...

 Darnton EGS are delighted to have acted as architects for the development of the Best Buy UK debut store located at Thurrock.
The store, the first Best Buy to open in the UK, has been created through the remodel and conversion of an existing retail park unit.

 One of the largest recent retail store remodels in the UK, the stunning remodel of M&S Liverpool store has been successfully completed by our architectural team.
A complex city centre site, the development has involved the complete refurbishment and alteration of the store, together with specialist heritage architectural input to conserve and restore the listed building fabric.

 Appointed under a framework agreement for Architecture, our London team are progressing the design of the extension to the 115 New Cavendish Street on behalf of the University of Westminster. The scheme, which includes the addition of a further storey to the existing library, is designed to achieve a BREEAM rating of Very Good and the design incorporates many low energy elements.

The phased refurbishment of student services and library facilities at the University of Huddersfield has achieved an amazing transformation of the aesthetic and functional qualities of the facilities on offer to students.
Already hailed by the client as ‘one of the best learning facilities in the UK’, the library transformation has been short listed for the Times Higher Education refurbishment award.

 Having achieved planning permission for this complex and interesting project, Darnton EGS have completed the detailed design of an affordable housing development for Elim HA on a brownfield regeneration site at Stapleton Road, Bristol. The project is designed to achieve Code for Sustainable Housing Level 3.
